A Paper Utilizing GOKO’s Capillaroscope Has Been Published in Experimental Dermatology

A research article entitled "Analysis of the Dynamics of Clinical Parameters and Serum Angiogenic Factors in Systemic Sclerosis Patients Undergoing Tocilizumab Treatment," authored by the Dermatology research group at Tohoku University Hospital (corresponding authors: Professor Yoshihide Asano and Lecturer Takehiro Takahashi; first author: Dr. Yuichiro Segawa), has been published in Experimental Dermatology.

In this study, changes in nailfold videocapillaroscopy findings were evaluated longitudinally before and after tocilizumab treatment in patients with systemic sclerosis, suggesting, among other possibilities, that the dynamics of capillary density may serve as an indicator of treatment responsiveness.

In this research, the capillary blood flow scope GOKO Bscan-ZD and software manufactured by GOKO Imaging Devices Co., Ltd. were used.
