Features high-luminosity LED system:
cool, bright and extremely long-life!

Features high-luminosity LED system

LED has extremely long life unlike halogen lamps and thus there is no need to change bulbs. No heat is generated that may damage object such as metal components over long observation periods.

  1. "Direct oblique lighting" from both right and left - Easy to adjust heights, slopes, and brightness.
  2. Lighting from below - Can put on/ off at your preference.

The combination of above (1) and (2) offers various and flexible effects in lightings.

No time lag! Captures smooth live video
(NTSC real time video system)

An NTSC full-motion real-time video system captures extremely smooth real-time monitoring with no time lags. Best suited for inspection for rework or for by letting the object move. It contributes to the speed-up of inspection.

Offers extremely large depth of field!

Offers extremely large depth of field, by making the most of NTSC full motion real-time video system, which provides much clearer and easy-to-see images that is completely different from the one that is digitally processed. Best suited for precise checks or inspections of uneven objects such as PCBs because it is not necessary to re-focus from time to time. These features of EV-1, "No time lag" and "Deep depth of field," improves the preciseness and speeds up the inspection.

Long working distance offers comfortable working space

Unlike previous microscopes, the camera unit of EV-1 enables to provide long working distance, which provides large vertical working space. This feature is ideal for inspection by letting the object move, process, or rework.
The camera unit of EV-1 can be moved vertically; thus, it can inspect an object whose height is up to 45 mm.

Strong and stable structure facilitates motionless observation.

EV-1 is extremely compact and easy to carry to change the locations of inspections from time to time. It is also ideal for using on narrow production lines or small workplaces. At the same time, it has novel structure with strong and stable stage that facilitates "motionless observation".

Applications

  • To inspect finish turning of machined components, such as burrs, processing defects, surface defects etc.
  • To check shapes of hole of metal stamping parts.
  • To inspect imperfect solder joints of surface mount devices etc.

Another magnification camera units are available

EV-1 is all-in-one standalone model that consists of monitor, camera unit VZ3-45 as standard magnification camera unit, working stage and LED lighting system.
Although standard magnification camera unit VZ3-45 is the standard equipment of EV-1, you can choose another camera unit in place of VZ3-45.

For example, you can choose "Low magnification camera unit VZ2-8 in place of VZ3-45 and also purchase VZ3-45 separately for replacement.

VZ3-45, the standard equipment of EV-1, offers the best-suited magnification for check of finish-turn inspection of machined components or check of surface mount devises.

For inspecting object deeper than 140mm

EV-1 is all-in-one standalone model that provides long working distance and working space as well. But if you inspect object that is deeper than 140 mm, we recommend purchasing a camera unit alone to be mounted on your own equipments such as combination of copy stand and flexible arm.
